Eliminar tu cuenta de Contalo

Puedes eliminar tu cuenta y todos tus datos de dos maneras. Las dos borran lo mismo.

Desde la app (inmediato)

Abre Contalo y ve a Ajustes → Eliminar mi cuenta. Te pedimos confirmar dos veces y el borrado ocurre en el momento.

Desde la web (si ya desinstalaste la app)

Entra a esta página, inicia sesión con tu correo y contraseña, y confirma. Se borra en el momento, igual que desde la app.

Qué se elimina

No se conserva nada después del borrado, salvo copias de seguridad técnicas que se rotan solas en un período corto. No queda ninguna forma de recuperar la cuenta: si vuelves a usar Contalo, empiezas de cero.

Borrar solo una parte de tus datos

No hace falta eliminar la cuenta para borrar información concreta. Todo esto se hace desde la app, en el momento y sin pedírnoslo a nosotros:

Lo que borres así desaparece en el momento y no se conserva, con la misma salvedad de las copias de seguridad técnicas que se rotan solas en un período corto. Si prefieres que lo hagamos nosotros, escríbenos a support@contalo.live desde el correo de tu cuenta diciendo qué quieres que borremos.

Antes de borrar la cuenta

Si quieres quedarte con tu información, exporta primero: Ajustes → Exportar mis datos te descarga un CSV con todos tus gastos e ingresos.

Delete your Contalo account

You can delete your account and all your data in two ways. Both erase the same thing.

From the app (immediate)

Open Contalo and go to Settings → Delete my account. We ask you to confirm twice and the deletion happens right away.

From the web (if you already uninstalled the app)

Go to this page, sign in with your email and password, and confirm. It's deleted right away, same as from the app.

What gets deleted

  • Your sign-in account, with your name and email.
  • Every movement: expenses, income, budgets, debts and savings goals.
  • Your classification rules and custom categories.
  • The Gmail, Outlook or IMAP connection, including any stored access tokens.
  • The WhatsApp link and your phone number.
  • Your conversations with Talo and the notes it wrote about your expenses.
  • Your device's notification token.

Nothing is kept afterwards, apart from technical backups that rotate out on their own within a short period. There is no way to recover the account: if you use Contalo again, you start from scratch.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not need to delete your account to erase specific information. All of this is done from the app, straight away, without asking us:

  • A single expense or income: tap it in the movement list and delete it from its detail sheet.
  • The email connection: in Settings, the "Disconnect" button for Gmail, Outlook or IMAP. It erases the stored access tokens and we stop reading your mailbox; movements already recorded stay.
  • The WhatsApp link: in Settings. It erases your phone number.
  • Your classification rules and custom categories.
  • Your budgets and savings goals.
  • This device's notification token: erased when you sign out.

Whatever you delete this way is gone immediately and is not kept, with the same exception for technical backups that rotate out on their own within a short period. If you would rather we did it, write to support@contalo.live from your account's email telling us what to delete.

Before you delete your account

To keep your information, export it first: Settings → Export my data downloads a CSV with all your expenses and income.
